The above video is one example of the new morning announcements called The Mule Media.
Mrs. Egan’s Business Tech class, consisting of Chloe Pearson, Taylor Gant, Owen Kenig, and Hyde Rusk started The Mule Media daily announcements.
They felt there needed to be a way to get information to students and staff on a daily basis. They cover announcements, weather, birthdays, sporting events, interviews, etc. The videos are filmed 7th hour the day prior and then shown 1st hour the next day in every classroom from elementary to high school.
We asked Mrs. Egan how she thought the process was going. ”I was blown away by how well the students are doing in front of and behind the camera. They are so talented, and it has been a blast to make these videos every day with them,” she responded.
It’s astonishing how much time and effort not only the students, but especially Mrs. Egan, puts in. She makes sure everything is edited and emailed to the staff by the time the 7th hour bell rings. We personally are very thankful for the opportunity to spread information and positivity school-wide every day!
