The prom allows High School students to have fun, celebrate milestones and spend quality time with friends and family before graduation.

Mrs. Dougherty is a Junior sponsor and the main preparer for the 2023 Wheatland prom. Mrs. Dougherty has been enjoying the process of the preparations so far. Finding a free venue to hold the celebration was a struggle for Mrs. Dougherty and the prom committee.

At the last class meeting on October 19th the Junior’s voted that this year’s prom theme would be “Enchanted Forest” and the food will be catered in by Qudoba. The prom is going to be held at the Weathered Wisdom Barn located at 17769 State Hwy F outside Preston, MO. on April 26th., 2023. Prom tickets are going to be $20 for anyone who is not a Wheatland Junior or Senior.
