The  annual Silver Dollar City Trip is a reward trip to FFA Members who sell items during our fall fundraiser. “We have 41 students eligible to attend the trip, but as it is our last day of school some students often make other plans and decide not to attend.” said Mr. Meeks. They also have an added clause where students can sell extra items and put those earnings towards payment for their ticket to SDC. The SDC trip is a great way to end the semester and reward FFA members for the hard work they have put in during their first semester. “The last day of school for the semester is a half day on Dec. 20th so we can arrive at the park right before sunset. We usually beat most of the large crowds and get to enjoy the park before it gets really busy. After dark the entire park is lit up for Christmas. Students can group up and spend their evenings at the park riding roller coasters, eating food, watching the free shows, riding the train, or any activities available for guests.” said Mr. Meeks
