It was such an honor to have Aleia Ream from The Index come and visit us at Wheatland High School on January 17th. She was very informative and helped us understand what it takes to be a good Journalist. Aleia left a positive impression on our Jouralism class. Senior Kaylynn Butler said, “Jounalism might be a good way to help get used to social interaction and help a community grow closer together.”
The students at Wheatland thought that Aleia was very inspiring. Junior Andrew Dougherty ” You don’t have to be a huge people person to interview people.” Aleia spoke about her positive impact. Senior Caleb Goodloe said ” Words make a difference in someones life.” Junior Kaloni Krueger “Journalism and reparting is a really good way to get out into the world. All the while learning new things everyday.” Junior Jericah Overhauser “Do not be afraid to stand your ground and ask as many questions as you need. People can be rude, so stand your ground. “
