The Wheatland FFA chapter prepares for a busy upcoming contest season with nine planned contests before districts. Out of the nine contests only five of them will feature all six of the contest teams. The teams that will feature Wheatland students this year include Ag Mechanics, Agronomy, Dairy Cattle, Dairy Foods, Farm Management and Nursery. 

All teams will be in action at Eldon, Adrian, Hillcrest and Marshfield. Every team except the Ag Mech. team will be in action at the College of the Ozarks workshop. The Mount Vernon workshop features Agronomy, Dairy cattle, Farm Management and Nursery. There will be a Dairy foods only workshop in Halfway, Ag Mechanics and Agronomy workshop in Sarcoxie. To end the contest season the Ozark Empire Fairground Contest where the Agronomy, Dairy foods, Farm Management and Nursery teams will be competing in the last contest before districts. 

Districts will be on the Missouri State campus on the 4th and 5th of April. Members have been working hard and are anxiously waiting for the first contest to come so they can compete with schools and members from all around the state.
