If you drive by Wheatland R-II at night you would probably notice the front looking a little brighter than normal. Or you may notice the new electronic booster board displaying students achievements and important news and events. This is all due to the push first year Superintendent Randy Dougherty is making to “Take pride in what we do, and make our school look sharp.” The new electronic signs made and hung by Sign Effx graphics. We also have a new Electronic Message Board that was purchased through the sponsorships of Oakstar Bank, Sawyer Accounting Services and Duke Transportation. The purpose of this sign is to display upcoming events, important messages and accomplishments that students at Wheatland R-II have made. Wheatland school is changing for the better and bringing life back into the school.
