Sophomores Daniel Jones and Jaycee Damiper rallied the sophomores together and decided they were going to ask high schoolers of all grades to contribute in bringing in gifts, snacks, food, etc. for a local family involved in an accident

I’ve asked sophomore Daniel Jones some ways we can help bring in money for them and he said he had a few ideas. During FFA, Daniel Jones had an idea to bring in all the money they raised during the silent auction to give to their family. The money they raise is going to them. Daniel mentioned that concessions could be another way to help raise money.

“I want to talk to one of the students involved to see how their family feels about it before we take any action regarding donating money . They might not feel comfortable with it and feel overwhelmed.” said sophomore Daniel Jones. We will also want to make sure that we let them know we care about them and not bombard them when questions they have already answered many times.

I asked our school resource officer, Cole Cihy, advice on how to avoid accidents and stay safe and Officer Cihy said we should obey all traffic laws, practice defensive driving and wear your seat belt.
